Recommendation for Happiness Evolution aka Happiness Makeover

Recommendation from a PhD senior technology manager in the Bay Area

"The ‘pursuit of happiness’ may be a cliche, though the desire to achieve it is pure. Perhaps somewhere between a hero’s journey and a daydreamer’s fantasy, I believe there is an inevitable crossroads in every person’s life when a feeling of ‘enough’s enough’ surges through us and we seek guidance beyond a book, and/or our inner circle — close friends/family.

For me, this ‘crossroads’ emerged after a six month interviewing courtship with a dream job, which resulted in them being ‘unable to make me an offer.’ Was it a hiring freeze because COVID just hit the US (March 2020), or was it something with me? Perhaps I thought the attainment of this ‘offer’ would bring me joy. Or maybe it was something else.

Only with personal context do I feel one could potentially relate to the appreciation and gratefulness that I have for Dr. Aymee Coget and the guided journey ‘to happiness’ she offers to clients.

Sold as a ‘happiness makeover’ (though I tell myself it’s a  ‘happiness evolution’) paired with an exportation into one’s blissful calling, and infused with learning Reiki, this joyous trifecta has changed my life.

While there may be elements of this ‘makeover’ that have instant gratification, if one is willing to make a commitment to themself, dedicate time and resources to make the ‘happiness for life decision’ Aymee will guide you through peaks and valleys of your past and projected future to embrace the now; the result is becoming to know, love, and be your ‘best self.’

Many new wonderful outcomes emerged for me during this journey, e.g. (1) the realization I really enjoy where I work, yet I was ready to take on a new role there. My personal preparation and ‘living in the now’ moved me to speak up and put myself out there to advocate for a different role than what I had been doing the past years. Though the role was undefined in many respects, I accepted the ambiguity without overanalyzing or discerning, which was a first for me - it’s been nine months and things are outstanding! (2) lead me to adjust my way of being at home and in my relationship with my wife. My increased self-esteem positioned me to be a compassionate listener with my wife and focus on what she was seeking to communicate to me, thus furthering my understanding of her and our relationship. This shift to increasing my ‘acknowledgment’ of her has done wonders. (3) over the course of the first six months, I became uninterested in drinking alcohol - basically moving past this habitual numbing agent - and over the past year have only had a few social drinks (this is a drastic reduction from multiple bottles of wine a week).

All of these shifts were elements introduced to me by Aymee in some form or fashion.

Given my multifaceted role as a full-time employed individual, husband, and father, Aymee reflectively listened to my situation and adjusted her standard schedule to my needs. What takes some six months has taken me eighteen, yet sustained happiness is the fantastic result!

Aymee is the total package: teacher, healer, confidant, coach, guide, knowledgeable expert, and inspiration! She’s dedicated to her craft, sets an amazing example, and shares the continuous refinements of her methods as they maturate with time and experiences."
